Analyze Production requirements and provide Purchase Order support to meet Production demand.
Initiate, follow up, and expedite, Purchase Orders to meet Production needs. Track and resolve logistic delays, errors.
Monitor production schedule for changes that require special attention by the Purchasing Department
Provide periodic RFQ audits to confirm current purchase pricing and lead times with the focus being to reduce costs,
obsolescence and delivery times where possible. Analyze and update current pricing and lead time information in the
ERP system as needed.
Maintain and develop vendor relationships.
Resolve invoice, billing, discrepant material (MRB), rework items, and receiving errors. Record such issues for future
vendor performance reviews.
Develop periodic vendor performance reports with the focus being to identify and address recurring supplier issues
regarding on time delivery, pricing, shipping/invoicing errors, customer service, etc. Work with Materials Manager or other key members of management on resolution with supplier as needed.
Provide custom quote support to Sales, Engineering, and Management.
Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel, internal and external.
Source custom and turnkey products internationally and domestically including negotiation, material requirements
verification, and execution of Supplier Agreements.
Participate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the Procurement process.

Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study or Previous experience in a buying or procurement role (1-3 years minimum)
Commodity procurement experience in valves, fittings, hydraulics, fasteners, MRO, and service work preferred
Manufacturing purchasing background preferred
Computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Spreadsheets)
Experience using ERP system (Infor Syteline experience preferred)
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
