Requirements/Qualification: We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in C++, CAM and CAD. Experience programming CNC Machines is a plus. Working knowledge of Solid Edge is also plus.
Description/Primary Job Responsibilities: A world wide leader in metal forgings for the Military, Aerospace and Oil & Gas markets located just south of Reliant Stadium area, is looking for a talented CNC Programmer for our Machine Shop. The Programmer is responsible for working with the department staff and the Grinding Department Supervisor to create programs that will be used in the production of forgings.

SUMMARY Overseas and/or directs the activities listed in following essential functions:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for profit goals of the district.
Responsible for international growth goals of the district.
Manages station activities (approximately 50% Operations & 50% Sales).
Determine budgets and manage station P&L statements.
Direct station’s Quality improvement processes.
Manages terminal’s sales staff, marketing, and international direct sales and general account maintenance.
Manages terminals operations staff (air / ocean / brokerage / warehouse)
Ensures continuous process improvement to increase efficiencies, productivity and the quality of customer service.
Develops and support training procedures and programs in compliance with corporate policy and governmental regulatory requirements.
Monitors performance and compliance regarding all regulatory requirements, e.g. AES, Known/Unknown Shipper Procedures, TSA Database, Dangerous Goods, etc.
Conducts random audit of shipment files
On going liaison and relationship building with all key vendors, including airlines, steamship lines, cartage agents and the like. Responsible for continuous review and negotiation of vendor tariffs.
Develop metrics and programs of accountability in monitoring service levels of all core contract service providers
