Location / Hours:
• (Northwest) Houston, TX
• 8am – 5pm

Job brief
• Servicing new and existing accounts by calling and emailing to obtains orders and seek out and manage large sales opportunities.

• Contact your customers by planning and organizing daily call schedule and managing it based on sales potential and ongoing sales opportunities

• Qualify and grow your orders by understanding product fit, related products and utilizing product guides, price lists and product literature.

• Keeps management informed by submitting contact activity reports

• Participate in customer planning and forecasting by working with sales, marketing management

• Participate in regular territorial sales meetings to discuss customer sales plans, progress and results

• Resolves customer complaints by working with your support team to investigating problems and developing solutions

• Work with Sales, Marketing and Product Management for continual product and market training.

• Work multi-state territory of consisting of 75 – 100 existing customers and over 100 potential customers

Requirements
• 2+ years professional inside sales selling technical product or services to B2B customers; retail or consumer goods not considered

• 2+ years using Microsoft Office, CRMs such as ACT! , sales/accounting software such as QuickBooks

• Must have excellent phone communication skills and good use of English language • Ability to succeed working with high customer count and high call volume

• Must have the ability to maintain positive and professional attitude under sometimes stressful conditions

• Ability to work independently but with full support by sales, marketing and product management to train, guide and plan your sales growth

• Ability to use sales reports and marketing data to prioritize your customers and time

• Ability to quickly understand best time and person to call, then guide your sales call towards meeting sales goals

Salary:
• $16-18/ hour plus commission, spiffs and bonuses
• Depends on capability, experience and initiative
• Once temp assignment is over and the candidate has shown initiative to understand our company and handle the everyday responsibilities of the position and has progressed enough, we will consider a pay increase
